Our next public meeting will be held in Nottingham on Wednesday 3 July 2013. This is an opportunity for trustees, charities and charity advisers in the Nottingham area to hear from representatives from the Charity Commission.

Annual Public Meeting held on 22 November 2012
Hosted by the Head of the Commission's Wales office Harry Iles, the event focused on good governance in charities.
Following an update on the Commission's work from Harry Iles, we heard from the Big Lottery Fund on what funders look for in terms of charity governance, and from a trustee about their charity's experience of reviewing governance.
