Charity Conference: 4 December 2009, Central London
This conference launched the report by Queen's University Belfast on the outcome of the SORP research exercise. The exercise began with an initial Forum in April 2008 followed by 28 roundtables held in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, the English regions and London. We heard from funders, government funders, charities small and large, practitioners and professional advisers. Over 1000 people took part and you may view the research report Charity Reporting and Accounting: Taking Stock and Future Reform on our website.

Charity Seminars: January 2010 - a further opportunity to understand the latest developments in the SORP and the ASB's plans for the future of charity accounting
Following the London event, a number of seminars were held to share the outcome of the SORP research and to debate the ASB's plans for the future of UK accounting as they affect charities. The seminars took place at the following locations:
