Avoiding problems in running your charity (risk management)

Running a charity can be hard work, even if you really enjoy doing it. As the charity regulator, we try to keep the rules simple for smaller charities. But there are other rules that charities need to know about, which apply to lots of organisations, not just charities. And if you want to run any organisation successfully, large or small, charity or business, you need to plan. Planning helps you to achieve your aims and avoid problems.
