Reporting of serious incidents to the Charity Commission

Good practice has always been that charity trustees should inform the Charity Commission if any serious incident has arisen within their charity that would result in a significant loss of funds or a significant risk to beneficiaries, resources or reputation.

For further information regarding the making of a complaint about a charity please see our publication CC47 - Complaints about Charities.
