Submit annual return/accounts

You can use our online service to complete your annual return and/or submit your Trustees’ Annual Report (TAR) and accounts.

Login to complete your annual return and/or submit your TAR and accounts.

You must have the charity's unique password to use the online service. If you do not have this or need a new one, you can order another password.

We will send the new password to you:

  • by email if we have an email address for the Commission to use for the charity
  • by post (to the charity contact address) if we do not - allow up to seven days for delivery

However, you should be aware that:

  • ordering a new password means that any previous password issued to the charity cannot be used any more
  • passwords can only be ordered via our website, so please do not call or write asking for one to be sent to you

If the contact or email details we hold for your charity are out of date - and you cannot access our online services for any reason - you should contact us to get them updated.

Any changes made to the details will normally be reflected on the charity's register entry overnight.

When you complete your annual return online, please submit your TAR and accounts in PDF format.

The following documents can be submitted to us unsigned provided the trustees retain the original signed documents:

  • TAR
  • accounts
  • the report of the independent examiner or auditor
