  • provides advice and information on key aspects of the UK’s counter-terrorism legislation
  • highlights how particular provisions are likely to affect charities and their work
  • explains the various ‘terrorism lists’ that exist
  • advises trustees what to do if they discover their charity may be working with or connected to people or organisations on terrorism lists

  1. The main guidance, Compliance toolkit chapter 1: Charities and Terrorism, has been updated to signpost to new guidance from the Crown Prosecution Service on proscription offences and terrorist financing offences and cases involving humanitarian, development and peacebuilding work overseas.

  2. Chapter 1 of the Compliance Toolkit has been updated to reflect UK counter-terrorism legislative developments and provide quick chart guides in an accessible format.
