The Regulator for Charities in England and Wales
The Commission is providing more information about charities for MPs.
The Commission microsite on epolitix, will make it possible for MPs to search for registered charities in a particular constituency and collate the contact details for these charities, providing them with a quick and easy way to get in touch with charities based in their constituency.
Also new to the microsite will be an MPs toolkit which will offer MPs advice on what to do when one of their constituents complains about a charity, providing a concise summary of the issues we can – and can’t – look into. The toolkit includes practical factsheets covering issues such as charity collection scams, charities and politics and face-to-face fundraising.
