Section 8.4 of OG 1 A1 provides guidance on discharging an Order under s.89(3) of the 1993 Act.
  Caseworkers should bear in mind that an Order to discharge an Order of the Commissioners under the power given in section 89(3) of the Charities Act 1993 can only be used within 12 months of the original Order.

ORDER

  1. In this Order:
    "the charity" means [ ].
    "the principal Order" means the Order of the Commissioners of [insert date] with sealing number [ ].
  2. By this Order the Commissioners discharge the principal Order.
  3. Notwithstanding the discharge of the principal Order, anything which was properly done by the trustees before the date of this Order under the authority of the principal Order will be deemed to have been properly done by the trustees as if it had been authorised by section 26 of the Charities Act 1993.
